What Happens After Midnight Book Review

 

  Hello Readers! I am back with another book review about a book I could not put down. This book is called What Happens After Midnight by K.L. Walther. 

    This book first came to be as a recommendation on my instagram. My instagram quickly learn that I love Taylor Swift and anything Taylor Swift related, which includes this book. I was told that if I liked the album Midnights then I would like this book, and to be honesty anything Taylor related I would love. That was only one reason why I loved this book so much, I'm also such a sucker for a good mystery stories and this book had just what I was looking for.

    This book takes place on a boarding school campus within the last two weeks of their senior year, which means senior pranks are right around the corner, but this school doesn't do it how you would expect. In order for a prank to be pulled off it will be done so by "the Jester." No one knows who the Jester is except for the previous one that continues a line of picking people, but the jester must pick a team of people to help them. So when our main character Lily gets a strange invitation to join the Jester she does not realizing that the Jester is her ex-boyfriend.

    Hope you enjoyed this book review and will consider reading What Happens After Midnight!

Amulet 1 by Kazu Kibuishi

 So when I was first writing my Readers Autobiography I decided to talk about Amulet in the rough draft and I said that when I was a kid I thought it was boring to read, mainly because the dialogue felt like too much for me at the time but a few weeks ago I decided to reread the series and I was actually pretty engaged with it now that I could understand, I found it quite interesting and it was actually much shorter than I thought it was compared to when I was younger.  In case you haven't already read this book yet, the main character Emily Hayes is someone who has been through things as a kid what caused her change in demeanor as a kid was when her father died in a car accident which turned her from a playful child to quiet, serious mature person. 2 years after her fathers death, her mom decides for the family to move to a far away place in the countryside where her great grandfather used to live in.
