Murder on the Orient Express-Agatha Christie
Murder on the Orient Express is a fictional detective novel by Agatha Christie. Murder on the Orient Express is about the detective, Hercules Poirot, who is on the Orient Express Train. On the Orient Express train, a wealthy American named Ratchett is murdered, and it is up to Hercules Poirot to find out who did it. Unfortunately, everyone on the train has their own alibi, and as Hercules Poirot digs deeper, the novel ends with a surprising conclusion.
Overall, I enjoyed this book because of the many twists and turns throughout the book. Agatha Christie's narration is also amazing, with her character development and placement of clues, keeping the reader guessing all the way through until the surprising conclusion. The novel's ability to combine suspense and plot twist gives an amazing classic whodunit story by Agatha Christie. I personally enjoyed this book a lot, and once I started reading it, I could not put it down. Overall, I will give this book a 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of detective novels.
Hi Krish. I saw a show which was a spinoff of this novel and I finally understood what some of the puns they made meant. I've also heard of Agatha Christie's books but I've never gotten a chance to read them so I might start off with this one. Good post!
ReplyDeleteHey Krish, I love trains and detective novels. This will definitely be on my reading list! Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteHi Krish, how is the book structured, is it more on the train or out in the world?
ReplyDeletemore on train
DeleteHi Krish, great review! Was the train itself filled with the wealthy, or was there a great variety of people on this train!??!?!?!!
ReplyDeletethere where decent variety
DeleteHi Krish, this review showed an exquisite amount of effort, everything from the beginning to the end was just full of complexities beyond my surface of knowledge. I look forward to reading this novel someday and think to myself, this review was what got me interested in this.
ReplyDeleteHi Krish! I love mysteries, and this book's plot sounds very interesting. Do you think the fact that most of the story happened on the train made the plot better or worse?!?! I'd love to know why!
ReplyDeleteHi Krish, I enjoyed this blog post, however it is much shorter than I would have liked, and this resulted in an almost unsatisfactory feeling after reading your blog. I would like to know a little more about what MADE the book worth the 10/10.
ReplyDeleteHello Krish! I am reading this book right now. But I actually don't particularly enjoy it. Of course, the story and plot of the murder itself is amazing, but the lack of any action outside of the interrogations for the larger portion of the book make it come up short in comparison to her other Poirot novels (in my opinion ofc). But it's still a great book!
