Amulet 1 by Kazu Kibuishi

So when I was first writing my Readers Autobiography I decided to talk about Amulet in the rough draft and I said that when I was a kid I thought it was boring to read, mainly because the dialogue felt like too much for me at the time but a few weeks ago I decided to reread the series and I was actually pretty engaged with it now that I could understand, I found it quite interesting and it was actually much shorter than I thought it was compared to when I was younger.  In case you haven't already read this book yet, the main character Emily Hayes is someone who has been through things as a kid what caused her change in demeanor as a kid was when her father died in a car accident which turned her from a playful child to quiet, serious mature person. 2 years after her fathers death, her mom decides for the family to move to a far away place in the countryside where her great grandfather used to live in.   Hunger Games- A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I had recently watched the fourth Hunger Games movie Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in the theater and decided to check out the book. I enjoyed the movie a lot and felt that the plot, acting, and characters were good. After finishing the movie, I was interested in checking out the book, and so I started reading. The Hunger Games Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes takes place right after the war and during the first Hunger Games. It also might have been what was suggested to me more when I went looking for new books for me to read. This review is about A Good Girls Guide to Murder  by: Holly Jackson!     This book is about a investigating into a murder that took place too long after the crime was committed, 5 years later. The main character Pippa isn't sure if they've accused the right guy so for her senior year project she does a deep dive into this case to discover clues all over the town that someone is trying to cover up, maybe even the murder. Pippa experiences being shut down by adults in her life because of believing something that seems so obvious to everyone else, but also for talking to Sal's (victim) brother. Pippa wants to know the whole story so that means talking to everyone possibly invited and asking the hard questions everyone else is too scared to ask. ...
